“LAKE TABOK”, Brgy. Tabok, Mandaue City

Lake Tabok is a water basin of about 2-hectares located in barangay Tabok, Mandaue City. The place has been submerged by water since June 2005 as a result of the subdivision development nearby (Palmas Verdes Subdivision and Palm Height subdivision of the Gaisano-owned Taft Properties and Development Corp.).

The DENR has penalized the developer for failing to institute measures to prevent the flooding of its adjacent area. Click the link below to view the video clip.
